So I ended up writing a lot for this (about 50K). Mostly pretty obvious, I feel. But not entirely.

Stranger Things

as the war machine keeps turning (Billy & Max + a little of the others, gen, 10K words)
It's one day after the end of the world, and Max is on the world's worst road trip.

I picked this up as a pinch hit because season 3 left me craving a Max & Billy reconciliation, and the recip's apocalypse prompts gave me one of the few scenarios in which I could really imagine it happening. This is kind of Stephen King-ish and was hella fun to write.

The Punisher

Nature Red in Tooth and Claw (David & Frank & Sarah, gen + David/Sarah, 22K words)
Six months after David had his last sight of Frank being dragged off by Billy Russo's goons, he finds Frank again in an underground fight club.

My actual assignment. My notes say "3K of werewolf Frank." Hahahahaaaaaa. *sob* This goes AU in the next-to-last episode of season one.

Iron Fist

But Never Broken (Danny & Ward + Colleen, gen, 9K words)
Ward managed to talk Danny into coming to the Rand annual anniversary gala, but even from beyond the grave, Harold is still finding ways to screw their lives up. Set between seasons.

A treat that got slightly out of control for the prompt "sick/hurt at formal social event." rachelmanija gave me the brilliant idea of Harold managing to poison Ward from beyond the grave.

All You Have (Danny/Ward, 3700 words)
In which Ward is sick, and Danny and Ward take obliviousness to new heights while stuck in the middle of nowhere.

I think this might be my first time writing Danny/Ward outright.

Alliance-Union

Flying High (Hellburner crew, canon pairings, 4200 words)
Updating the team's flight tapes means drugs. No one is happy about this.

Another pinch hit, which I decided to jump on after getting some of my other assignments squared away, because I always love writing the Hellburner crew and this gave me an opportunity to write Ben doing what chomiji so accurately describes as his Sanity Anchor thing.

Agent Carter

Collapse (Peggy & Jack & Daniel, gen, 2100 words)
Post-shooting, Jack overworks himself.

Robin didn't hug, had never hugged. Growing up with three brothers and a single dad, she'd grown up understanding that affection was expressed through manly punches on the shoulder.

So it surprised her as much as it did Steve when he walked, or limped rather, out of the hole in the wall of (what was left of) the high school gym, covered in blood and slime, and she threw her arms around him.

She let go 0.3 seconds later, and followed it up with a manly punch to the shoulder. "Ow," Steve said.

"What are you covered in?" She shook her hands. "What am I covered in?"

"Don't ask." He wobbled, and Robin caught hold of him, slime and all, and guided him to sit on a fallen piece of wall.

She didn't say I thought you were dead. She didn't even think it. But she sat beside him, and eventually he leaned against her and she leaned back and rested her head on his shoulder, until the emergency vehicles showed up.

Erica was pliant in Steve's hands, hardly even fighting, and it wasn't until Dustin grabbed at Steve's arm, yelling, "Stop it, you're scaring her!" that he realized he'd been shaking her.

He let go and she pulled away, staring at him, while Steve felt his legs go loose, and sat hard on the soggy leaves of the forest floor.

"You could have been killed," he said. "What's wrong with you kids?"

I love AU-Ex. It's one of my favorites of the seasonal exchange cycle. I wrote:

Math and Poetry and Gunmanship (Punisher, 6100 words, Frank & Leo)
Basically True Grit with Frank and Leo in a post-apocalyptic wilderness. Leo hires Frank to help her find her missing parents; they each learn a little from each other.

Runaways (Iron Fist, 5300 wds, mostly Danny & Ward with some Joy)
For a request for an ageswap AU in which Danny is the oldest of the Rand-Meachum kids. It's actually kind of amazing how much this changes, once I started thinking through how the characters' personalities interact with birth order and parental expectation; Danny is more responsible, Ward is brattier, and all in all it's just a really fascinating dynamic to play with.

Only as Old as You Feel (Stranger Things, 1500 wds, mostly Robin & Nancy + the ensemble)
For the requested tag (nominated by me) "Weird Adventures While Living Together In A Retirement Home AU". Instead of Hawkins the town, it's Hawkins Care Home, in which residents mysteriously go missing and geriatric sleuth Nancy is dragging her reluctant roommate Robin along to find out why.

A Zailor in the Making (Guardians of the Galaxy/Fallen London, 2100 words, Peter + team)
For a request for a Fallen London/GotG fusion. In which Peter has landed himself in disgraced exile in the Tomb-Colonies, because of course he has, but don't worry, Zee-Captain Gamora is here to, er, not rescue him. Probably.

A pinch hit for Rule 63 Exchange, in which Danny is Danielle, and it changes everything and nothing.

Not Prime Time reveals were today, and I wrote:

Downbeat (Defenders/Endgame, Misty & Colleen, 1600 wds)
This was for a request for Misty and Colleen at the big fight, and the two of them meeting some of the MCU superhero ladies.

Puppy Love (Stranger Things, gen, 1300 wds)
Steve gets a puppy. Written before S2 came out, so no spoilers.

And I've started collecting my short Iron Fist/Defenders ficlets and commentfic - written for various prompts on Tumblr and DW, not long or complete enough to post as standalone stories - into an AO3 collection the way I've been doing for my Agent Carter short fic as well. The Iron Fist one is called The Rand Dossiers (unless I think of a better title) and I've collected them through roughly February so far.

(The Agent Carter one, From the SSR Files, is currently up to 91 chapters and I've decided to cap it at 100 and start a new one.)

Authors are now revealed, and here is what I wrote for Chocolate Box - assignments, pinch hits, and treats. Spectacularly unsurprising in all cases, I suspect. XD

By March or so, the patrols were getting pretty well organized. There was an actual, honest-to-God signup sheet, stuck to Mrs. Byers' fridge with a smiley rainbow magnet and decorated with stickers by the kids. (Or: Monsters are hunted, and Steve starts figuring some things out.)

Iron Fist

Infected bullet wounds and heart to heart talks while hiding out from gangsters in Indonesia: just another day on the Rand-Meachum road trip of self-discovery.

Misty doesn't have THE Iron Fist, but she has AN iron fist. (LOL, I feel as if I should mention that despite the summary, no actual fisting occurs. It's about arm wrestling.)

There is no such thing as luck, no such thing as magic fish, and Jessica wants a refund for this day.

It's Jessica who accidentally introduces Danny to the concept of half-off post-holiday chocolate sales.

David is the Punisher's tech support. That's okay. It's fine.

Chocolate Box reveals are out! I had no idea alessandriana wrote the OT3 fic for me! Ha.

I wrote:

Saints and Other Scoundrels (Discworld, Moist von Lipwig/Adora Bell Dearheart, 1480 words)
Adora Belle entertains a late-night visitor and learns a few things about obscure Omnian holidays, at least the Moist Von Lipwig version of said holidays.

Or: Valentine's Day on the Disc. I've never even tried to write Discworld before, but this was a very, very last-minute emergency pinch hit, and one of their requested pairings was also one of my favorite Discworld couples (plus I'd just recently reread the Moist books), so I decided to try writing it and see if I could actually make a story take shape before I officially picked up the pinch hit. About 90% of a story later, I was like, "Well, this appears to be working ..."

A Friend in Need (Stranger Things, Steve + the kids, 2200 words)
Steve is sick; the kids try to make him feel better.

That's it, that's the story. :D This one was my actual assignment. I wanted to do more treating, but I think I kinda burned myself out on writing short fluff with Yuletide and Fandom Stocking.
