(These do not necessarily take place in the same continuity; they're just thematically related.)

Notes: As far as I know, there is no hallucinogen that makes people act like the one in this story does, including the one that is name-checked (which is a real drug, just not one that makes people behave like this). *g* Quite a lot of creative liberty is being taken here.

I've been feeling too busy lately, but I've come to the conclusion that perhaps it's the opposite problem -- I'm not busy enough. Or, rather, I don't have deadlines -- I've got all of these projects that I'd like to finish someday, and so I keep puttering with all of them, picking them up, putting them down, and not getting anything accomplished. So I never get anything done, and my to-do list never gets any shorter, and I feel overwhelmed even though I'm actually doing a lot; I'm just not finishing anything.

Thus, I signed up for some things. *g*

1. I was about to throw in the towel and post my unfinished line from my last h/c bingo card, but damn it, I have one square left to go! It's a really hard one for me (sexual extortion), but come on, self, I can already think of a few half-formed White Collar ideas for this one; surely I can manage something! I hereby declare my intent to write that fricking square.

2. A couple of people on my flist are doing 10tropes/10tropes, which looks really fun - Rules & FAQ; list of tropes. The only problem is that you pick your own tropes, and I got sucked into TV Tropes for several hours while, uh, "researching". But I am signed up! I have picked my tropes! My claims post is here. (Noted for myself for future reference.)
