Dec. 1: Biggles coffee shop not-AU
Dec. 1st, 2024 08:51 pmHappy December! Since I've already started Whumpcember, let us kick off December with something a little lighter.
Some time back, I had the idea of trying to write an in-universe Biggles coffee shop AU. It stalled out once I had to advance from Vibes to actual Plot (a lot of my WIPs do that) but .... well, enjoy the 500 words or so that exists.
(This involved researching coffee shops in midcentury London. I mean, coffee shops in general were obviously around historically, but quite conveniently for my purposes, Italian-inspired "coffee bars" that sold espresso drinks became a hot craze in the 1950s, it seems.)
