I am doing NaNo, sort of, but I'm not doing it "officially" or working on a single project. There are two main projects I'm working on right now: a rewrite of my urban fantasy novel (... yes, I'm rewriting it again) because I'm workshopping it in a writing class, and a steampunk(ish) murder mystery set in 1930s Chicago. So I am going to try to achieve NaNo word counts on both of those projects this month! :) (Also padding it out with fanfic, since that's a nice stress relief for me.) Basically, if I can do the NaNo word count this month on ALL THE THINGS, I will be very happy. And if I don't, then I figure that at least I will have written more than I had before ...
I did drop my class -- and thank you very much to everyone who gave me input on that decision -- so that frees up quite a bit of time that I plan to use for writing!
I got 2300 wds today, so I'm off to a good start.
