Heh. Random bit of WiP.

I stumbled across this tonight while I was poking through my folder of unfinished scraps, and realized that I am never going to write any more of this (first of all, because I was totally winging it, and had no idea what was going to happen next; second, because the pseudo-Dashiel Hammett voice is actually really hard to pull off, and doesn't sound all that much like Peter's internal voice to me). This was written back in July.

I'm delighted to see there are a ton of meta "plotbunnies" up for grabs at month-of-meta: suggestion post on LJ / suggestion post on DW. (Note: there are different comments at each one, so you may wish to check both for ideas!) If you like the idea of writing something, but aren't sure what you'd like to write about (or if you're still a little unclear on the exact definition of "meta") go take a look for ideas!

terajk is running a fanworks fest for characters with navigational impairments: Heroes Arrive Last. Discussion, prompts, fic, art, squee, even original work -- anything is welcome!

I've mentioned this before, but I'm intermittently reccing White Collar fic (and occasionally other kinds of fanworks) over at whitecollar_rec, and they could always use more reccers. Any pairing or genre is welcome, and you don't need to sign up or anything; just post a rec. The rules are in the userinfo.
