Meta fest (poll)

trobadora and I were talking at her journal just recently about the demise of Metafandom and the general lack of meta-type conversations lately - and this spawned, as such things do, the idea of putting together a month-long meta fest in March. The rules would be simple:

Beginning mid-February, we'd ask people to sign up for posting meta – either general meta or fandom-specific meta - during the month of March.

In March, on your designated date you'd post your meta or a link to it in the fest community on LJ and/or on DW, and we’d all descend upon your post to enjoy and discuss!

Additional meta you didn't sign up with would of course be very welcome, including follow-ups to previous discussions.

If you'd prefer to vote on LJ (since the above is a DW poll), Trobadora has a poll going on her LJ too. This fest would be on both DW and LJ; you could post your meta wherever you prefer, at either or both sites.

And please spread the word; the more responses we get to the poll, the better we can gauge interest in such a thing! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, comments or suggestions. We're still at the early planning stages, so feedback is important!
