ficathons ahoy

Signups are open at purimgifts/purimgifts. :D I did this last year and had immense fun -- you give your recipient a "gift basket" of three ficlets and three graphics. Rules and FAQ at the link. (Stories must feature characters who are a) female b) Jewish or c) persecuted by evil viziers -- thanks to A:tLA, I actually have a fandom that qualifies for that last one now! -- and you need not be Jewish to play.) I'm still dithering on whether to sign up; on the one hand, I was really looking forward to not having any ficathon deadlines hanging over me for a while! But on the other hand, I think this is one of the funnest ficathons of the year, and last year I loved preparing my ficlets and tracking down suitable graphics, so ... I DON'T KNOW. *flaily*

In SGA, there is a new community, rononficathon, that is gauging interest in a Ronon ficathon. I know some of you on my flist are Ronon fans, so if that sounds like something you might like to participate in, hop over and vote in the poll!

sgareversebang is taking artist signups 'til the end of January, and author signups 'til Feb. 20. Still on the fence here, too. I really wouldn't mind the opportunity to do more art! But I still don't want to sign up for more ficathons. My life. So hard.
