Dear Internet: why so slow tonight? (Ever since having the Internet go out for a week and a half in January, slow Internet makes me paranoid.)

aragarna and kanarek13 are seeking more contributions for The Tim DeKay Project, a fan-made gift for TDK's 50th birthday. Here is a page that explains what they're looking for and has examples. I wasn't going to contribute to this because, uh, I'm massively shy and this sort of thing turns me into a giant pile of embarrassment, but I'm thinking about it now.

halfamoon has an Unpopular Women Love Post to share squee about female characters who don't get much love in their fandoms, either because they're often hated on, or just ignored. You can start a thread for your own favorite, or find threads for characters you like and make happy comments about them. (Squee only, please - no negative comments or comparisons to other characters of the "X is so much better than Y!" variety.)

Festivids is an annual rare-fandom vidding exchange, and this year's vidder reveals are up.
