sholio: Elizabeth from White Collar, smiling (WhiteCollar-Elizabeth smiling)
I watched White Collar 2x07 and 1x07 a little earlier (yes, in that order, as it happened) -- very interesting to watch them back to back, since the plots are mirror images of each other. )

I believe I have now hit the "you guys should all be watching White Collar, because it is AWESOME!" point with this show. If I wasn't there already. *flails*

In other news, today I drove into town to hand off the Freelance Project From Hell (seriously, there is very little that hasn't gone wrong; I got an email from one of the project coordinators last night that ended, direct quote, "... it's like something out of a horror movie." XD). With that weight off my shoulders, I went to the farmer's market and got some lettuce and baked goodies and a steamed bun with homemade red bean filling (for a smallish town near the Arctic Circle, we have a pretty rocking farmer's market). And then I drove home thinking about White Collar. As you do.

This weekend's plans: finish up the overdue freelance stuff that I wasn't getting done because of the Project From Hell, finish watching WC season one ... and write fic! [livejournal.com profile] wc_women_fest is having a promptfest for the White Collar ladies. I also just got my assignment for the [livejournal.com profile] collarcorner fic exchange (that was fast!) and am feeling inspired. And I need to finish up my [livejournal.com profile] fkficfest story, but it's coming along.

And on Monday I will be flying off to Seattle to see [livejournal.com profile] xparrot and [livejournal.com profile] gnine and [livejournal.com profile] naye - eeeeeeeeee!
