[livejournal.com profile] sga_genficathon signups are open 'til Feb. 19! Signups, rules and prompt list HERE.

And, belatedly, [community profile] white_lotus is posting A:tLA stories/art/etc. for the Lunar New Year Exchange. I got an AWESOME story with accompanying, equally awesome art: The Same Process in Reverse (gen, Zuko & Iroh, post-series). It's a wonderful look at Zuko and Iroh after the series' end.

In considerably less awesome news, my 5-year-old iMac died. The whole story under the cut )

sholio: sun on winter trees (FMA-Riza sniper)
[personal profile] stultiloquentia has a completely awesome Fullmetal Alchemist introductory post. If you haven't seen it, it's a great "why you should watch this show!" post and an overview of the different versions of canon; if you have seen it, it's a hilarious and awesome romp through the show's gorgeous visuals and wonderful characters. (Spoiler warning: If you're severely spoiler-avoidant, you may wish to skim the images and not read much of the text; the sort of spoilers that exist are more general plot-setup stuff and "then this character is introduced later" rather than "...and in episode 30, everyone dies and is replaced by clones!" but being a severe spoilerphobe myself, I enjoyed FMA's unpredictability and liked the way that the reveals unfolded with no knowledge of what's coming up.)
