Fandom Stockings are up!

The Fandom Stockings are revealed! Mine is here and I got lots of lovely stuff -- pictures and ficlets and recs and greetings. I'm delighted with it. :D

I did not manage to get to all the stockings I wanted to fill this year, but I ended up writing a fair amount of stuff, though it's mostly unfinished snippets. Here's what I wrote this year:

White Collar:
A scene from an AU in which Peter is a criminal and Neal is an agent for [personal profile] veleda_k
Post-finale reunion ficlet for [personal profile] leesa_perrie
A different post-finale reunion ficlet for [personal profile] pipilj
A little more of the Iceland fic I posted in comments awhile back for [personal profile] aqwt101 (here's the other piece)
A little more of the White Collar/October Daye fusion Frith and I share for [personal profile] frith_in_thorns (following on directly from the snippet she wrote for me last fandom stocking)
Snippets from a post-finale Christmas story for [personal profile] sheron
Werewolf Peter playing in the snow for [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13
Diana is afflicted with Theo's uncles for [personal profile] sheenianni
(the latter two written as snippets in my own comments as thank-yous to people who gave me something when I hadn't given them anything!)

MCU:
Scene from a fic in which Bucky never gets his memories back but becomes friends with Steve anyway for [personal profile] trobadora

btw, it is perfectly fine with me if people who aren't the recipient comment on these; I think it's perfectly fine, although you might wait 'til the recipient has a chance to comment first if they haven't yet. :D I would have posted some of them on AO3, but none are really finished enough to do that (and the only one which actually is a complete story, Veleda's story, has a major plot hole that needs to be fixed >_>).

Thank you so much for the link to this post!

I've never heard about fandom-stockings before, but I’ll definitely look it up! I hope you won’t mind if I comment here instead of at each of these threads. I skipped some stories that looked like they are parts from the longer stories I haven’t read yet, but all the others were awww-worthy!

I LOVED all the reunion scenarios. But my favorite was the one you linked to, with Neal rushing back to New York after Peter’s heart problems. It feels so right. I will assume that he will stay there and be with his family where he belongs. And it works really well as a sort of prequel to the Christmas story, which obviously happens some weeks/months later. Headcanon accepted!
"I don't know, Peter." Neal was back in subdued mode. It looked wrong on him, like the sun had gone out of the world. "This is your family time --"
"Bullshit," Peter said succinctly, and Neal looked startled. "You are family. You told us that. …”

GOD YES! So them! *squeezes them* And the setting ("Peter and Neal get snowbound in a crappy little roadside motel at Christmas") is wonderful, I adore snowbound stories! I will be quietly hoping that you will get to finish it, because this is the heart of Peter and Neal, and I’ve been craving post-canon stories that fix everyone back to where they belong.

I can imagine Neal as an agent much easier than Peter as a criminal. Being a lawman is ingrained so deep into Peter that I can’t see him without it. But it was a fun read, anyway. Their dynamic is something special in any universe!

And the Iceland fic: I squealed aloud, because cuteness overload! And a lovely companion piece to your other snuggling fic I’ve just read. Neal is such a kid, isn’t he? And Peter let him cuddle, awwww… Sweeties! (Ookay, it really invites the "Neal pushes Peter out of the bed" scenario)))
I wish there was an episode outside of New York. It would have been so fun! And I really liked your description of the nightly forest, and their adventures there. I can’t decide what story I want finished more, this or post-canon one))) I am amazed by how such short stories give such a large boost of positive and squee! Thank you!
