Ohhh...! *lightbulb*

Browsing sga_santa, I noticed one of the mods saying something that made me realize I may have been doing Genficathon the STUPID WAY all these years. Does anyone on my flist have enough experience with moderated comms to tell me if this would work?

I'm thinking that I ought to be able to set the comm to moderated status (so that posts have to be approved in order to appear), and then troubleshoot, code and post each entry as I get it; then all I have to do when it's time to make them go live is release a couple from the moderation queue each day. All the work is already done.

Is there some really obvious problem that I'm overlooking here, or would this totally work?

I think there's a limited number of posts that can go in the moderation queue, and also, you might want to investigate whether it's possible for the same poster to have multiple posts in the queue at the same time. I'm not really sure, but I think I've heard about these two things being an issue.
