Ohhh...! *lightbulb*

Browsing sga_santa, I noticed one of the mods saying something that made me realize I may have been doing Genficathon the STUPID WAY all these years. Does anyone on my flist have enough experience with moderated comms to tell me if this would work?

I'm thinking that I ought to be able to set the comm to moderated status (so that posts have to be approved in order to appear), and then troubleshoot, code and post each entry as I get it; then all I have to do when it's time to make them go live is release a couple from the moderation queue each day. All the work is already done.

Is there some really obvious problem that I'm overlooking here, or would this totally work?

I'm not positive, but you might have to juggle two different users for that to work, because if you are a moderator, your own posts automatically are posted without waiting for review. If there's a way around that, I want to know it, because I've wanted to the do the same thing several times.
