yea. I hear you there. And it doesn't play here in the US till 7/20!! you evil downloading person you! No, you didn't spoil me, I'm a spoiler hound, but god, I so agree. I watch a show for the characters - Stop killing them! God, maybe I will stake out the torchwood panel at SDCC and pin RTD to the wall! grrrrr!
I seriously haven't stopped crying since it ended. Even with Carson I didn't cry this much! I've had to retype this twice because I can't see they typos through my tears.
I think if they pull a reset, it'll be back to 1965, so they do the right thing the first time and everything is different. But then the implications of that make me sad, because it means that Gwen, Owen, Ianto and Tosh might never even be born. And it has the potential to retcon the whole of the Torchwood series out of existence.
Oh god, I can hardly wait for tomorrow, and it's been quite a long time since I felt that way about the show. Even if they're breaking my heart, they do it so beautifully.
I am just very glad I'm not fanning on TW. (also I'm surprised that I didn't see it coming, it should have been obvious, given the emphasis they were putting on the Jack/Ianto relationship in this series, when we all know it was destined to end badly sooner or later...and TW is all about the "sooner".)
I got a couple Jack/Ianto OTPers on the flist, though, and man, I feel for 'em...
Word, that was incredibly sad, despite being hot on the heels of Tosh and Owen's deaths in S2.
I'm not a huge Ianto fan (I don't hate him, I just...don't care all that much about him fannishly), but that was pretty gutting, and I really feel terrible for my Jack/Ianto fan friends. :(
On a more heartless note, I'm kind of pissed, because the story they are telling here is one of the best they've ever told on TW, and killing off Ianto kind of overshadows it. I'll be interested to see how they deal tonight.
I don't care about anything except that I want a happy ending, dammit, and at this point I really don't care how they do it. Just. FIX. IT. *cries on you* (I'm not an OTPer, I'm not even a huge Torchwood fan, but it's just not fair and it upsets me that Gwen's lost all of her non-immortal teammates, and Ianto's sister and brother-in-law and nephew and niece need to get their Ianto back NOT DEAD, because. Because.)
I watched it just now on youtube and I.. don't quite know what I'm thinking right this instant. I mean, they can't just kill of Ianto! There were already been just the three of them , how can they possibly do such a thing? I'm so angry and sad right know and I don't really know what to say, I just saw your entry and desided to take a look. Well, I still hope they have some gizmo somewhere that an bring people back to life. They have to.
It's weird, I've stopped watching after season 1, but people's reactions are making me want to watch again. Apparently I am addicted to pain or something...

My fav. was Owen, but at least for him there was more than a bit of a warning.

And I'm trying to figure out where the show is going, cause seriously, we're down to two members now. Is the show ending or going for a major revamp?
