DAY 3: "bite down on this" (Algy in Terai, hurt no comfort, 350 wds)

DAY 4: obedience (EvS, Sakhalin, 150 wds)

DAY 5: rope burns (Biggles & EvS, 560 wds)

DAY 6: "you lied to me"

DAY 7: suffering in silence

DAY 8: "why won't it stop?" (Biggles/EvS, 1000 wds, follow-up to Day 2)

DAY 9: bees (Algy/Ginger-ish, 200 wds)

DAY 10: killing in self defence (Biggles & Fritz, Buries a Hatchet tag, 580 wds)

DAY 11: time loop (team + enemy-era EvS, 500 wds)

DAY 14: blood-stained tiles (EvS w/some Fritz, Buries a Hatchet missing scene, 900 wds)

DAY 18: too weak to move (Biggles/EvS-ish, 200 wds)

Ooh, I’d forgotten about these! Well, it’s already February here... time to get writing :-D

I do get a distinct ‘one of these things is not like the others’ vibe when I read down and get to Bees! Though after Charter Pilot I may be in the kind of headspace that features giant bees...

I suddenly thought of beekeeping as the comfort part of h/c, although that might require a different context than just whump.

"Bees!" is in fact one of the ones I have something written for! I couldn't resist it ...

(Though it's really more humor than whump.)

Edit: Thoroughly in favor of giant bees, however.

YASSSSS OMG I want to do this too because OBVIOUSLY what I need is a distraction when I have one book due and edits incoming on another book AND edits incoming on a comic outline :D

It's nice to have a pleasant, no-strings-attached distraction, though! I've really enjoyed writing one of these now and then with no particular obligation to have, like, an actual plot or conclusion. xD
