I am hereby freshly resolved to write 1000 words a day from now 'til the end of the year, SO HELP ME.

(You may be able to guess it hasn't gone all that well the last few weeks ...)

In not-entirely-unrelated news, Yuletide signups are open, and I'm on the fence once again! I also noticed that Dresden Files is listed in the approved fandoms. I thought it had been too big for Yuletide for a couple of years now. Anyone know if that's a mistake or if it's actually in?

I thought the TV show was eligible but not the books?

The books are on the list, though! It's possible that someone argued on their behalf and got them in. (Personally, much as I loved having it in Yuletide -- I've both written and received fic in that fandom -- I absolutely agree that they're too big for Yuletide. On the other hand, I certainly don't mind it being an option if the mods are okay with it. Having some bigger fandoms probably makes the matching a lot easier ...)
