LOLOL
I've been rewatching White Collar season 3 over the course of the last couple of weeks, and having reached 3x07, I just noticed something that none of us would've had cause to notice when the episode first aired.
When Neal has Sara replace DuPont's account information with Neal's (fake) info, he has her enter his mother's maiden name as "Mitchell".
Which, as we now know from the back half of season 3, is Elizabeth's maiden name.
And it may well be nothing more than a case of accidentally repeating a name -- TV writers seem to do this a lot, with a throwaway name from a previous episode being used again in a later episode. Probably because when you have the same pool of writers making up names, the same or similar names tend to crop up over and over (something that I've noticed in my own writing as well).
Whether or not it was intentional, though, viewed as an in-universe choice of Neal's, I find it adorkably charming. XD
