Exactly how do you make a podfic? I was thinking about making one, but I can't figure out how you do it.

And you did a fantastic job, by the way! Loved it! :D

Devil and the Deep Blue Sea was one of my favorites, not just because it had three of my most favorite people [though that DID help] but also because they explored more of New Lantis. I found it highly engaging and great fun to read.

As far as how, I've actually been looking for an excuse to make a screencast (video tutorial) so you've given me a great thing to screencast! I'll make it tonight and link you to it okay?

I've recorded the screencast but the stupid thing won't export, so I give up. LOL. But I wrote up a how to a while back over here

that's for Audacity, which I use when I do it on my pc, but if you have a Mac and Garage Band, there's a great tutorial on how to do it on youtube. This is more of a technical how to whereas mine was tips ie "have personality, don't be afraid of re-recording, put the mic three inches away from your mouth" etc.

Podficcing IS fun...I'm actually podficcing 'Three Brothers' by Friendshipper...:D

I'm just immensely flattered that you wanted to do it at all. :D I have a slightly embarrassing confession to make - I rarely listen to podfic or audiobooks myself (it just doesn't fit with my usual workflow) but I will definitely be downloading it for the next time that I do want something to listen to! And I'll also check out your tutorial if you make one; I'm curious how it's done, too. :)
