New h/c bingo card!

I have now completed a bingo on my h/c bingo card! At this point you can either do a new bingo on the same card, or request a new card.

I decided to request a new card.

This may have been a mistake. *g*

On the bright side, there are a lot more squares that look do-able to me on this one than the last one, and fewer that make me go "... no way can I write THAT!"

As before, the annotated card:



Colors range from green (looks fun) through yellow and orange (various levels of do-able) to red (I really don't know if I can write that).

I noticed on the last card that one problem I have filling these prompts is doing them in an h/c context and not simply using them as a springboard for writing fic. I really wanted to do a paintball game for the "combat" square, for example, but it wouldn't have been h/c... *g*

Yeah, the far left looks the most doable to me, although the only square that I'm really all fired up to write is the "drowning" one. (Hello, my id, let me show you it!) But that one's got the most green by far ... :D

Given my fannish proclivities at the moment, it's quite likely that at least one (and probably more) will be White Collar. But there's really no telling! I'm still writing Highlander and poking at the occasional A:tLA and SGA fic, so I imagine it'll be whatever takes my fancy at the moment.

Never mind, I finally located it...it does look like a lot of fun, however i notice that there's a few that i have absolutely no idea what they're talking about on the prompt listing.

What the hell does 'Dub-con' mean? :/

Glad you found it! :) Dub-con means "dubious consent" -- so, it's not quite non-con (i.e. rape) but there are extenuating circumstances that make it less than totally consenting sex. Maybe the person would've wanted it under other circumstances but not like this ... that sort of thing. Personally I've always been deeply uncomfortable with the whole dub-con concept; it's not that I don't think consent is complicated (it is!), it's more that most stories I've read that have been labeled dub-con were, in my eyes, either pretty straightforward non-con, or used some sort of contrived loophole as a get-out-of-rape-free card (you're forcing me, but I'm actually into you so it's okay ... that sort of thing). Ironically I'm actually a whole lot more okay with straight-up non-con ...

... anyway, that is probably more than you wanted to know. *g* Incidentally, when you sign up for a card (if you sign up for a card) you can ask to have up to three prompts left off your card if you so choose.

Thanks for explaning it to me. My card's posted on my LJ if you want to take a look-maybe we can swap some, though I'm relatively happy with how my card turned out! :D (making deals with demons is SO going to Supernatural!)
