This series just puts too many gorgeous visuals into my brain. :) And there is very little fanart for it, comparatively speaking. SO.
I did a little pen sketch of Thomas in leather jacket and added some wash colors in Photoshop.

(oh man, with you talking about them I might have to go back and read some of the early Thomas scenes, at least, even if I don't have time for the whole series ^^)

... I think your plan sounds like an excellent one. :D I hadn't re-read the early books since the big Thomas reveal in Blood Rites, so it was really interesting to go back and re-read his and Harry's early interactions before Harry knew the truth. (I still can't figure out if Butcher planned it from Thomas's first appearance or not. The biggest thing that makes me wonder is that Lea and Thomas actually meet in Grave Peril, and she doesn't react like she's in on the secret, even though later on she seems to have known all along. But it was definitely in the works since at least the book before Blood Rites.)
