Gee, thanks, brain ... I HATE YOU

So after most of a week of housesitting, in which I had little else to do but visit with various friends (I met [livejournal.com profile] amothea in person! there was ice cream! *waves*) and, theoretically, write my sgareversebang story -- it finally took off the night before my incredibly busy week of traveling with family begins. *weeps* So after most of a week of faffing around, now I have 2200 words, I know which way the plot goes, and I'm eager to write -- and I won't be able to write for a week. AARGH.

I turned on non-friend comment screening on the previous post because I won't be around to monitor it much over the next week or so. I don't expect major conflagrations, but I noticed that it's gone up on Metafandom, so ... no telling really.

Hey, I'm actually first to comment about something for a change, lol. (Love you're heading! *g*)

I know exactly how you feel! I once went an entire MONTH not being able to write anything because I had no laptop, no notebooks, and even no writing utentsils. I was busy visiting one of my set of grandparents, who hate technology [I think it's because they're old and they don't really understand it, even if I try to explain how it all works to them, because I'm geeky like that.] and I was forced to just putter around in the wilderness, read, and work on whatever came up. At least I was able to bring books, otherwise I would've DIED. XD

SGAVERSEBANG story looks like it's going to be a long one...so I'm eagerly awaiting the ability to read it! I once wished that I had a laptop that would inform me of what everyone was writing in my laptop even as they were writing it.

Wish never came true, sadly. *shrugs*

Wow, that was pointless rambling...well, anyway, have fun at your family's house(?) and hopefully you'll be able to get back on the wagon soon and write some more! :D

Sorry about the muse. They're notoriously helpful at the least convenient time. Mine always seems to get in a tiff that I ignore it for other things and won't come back without major coaxing. I've got a solid idea for my reversebang story, but understanding the plot means knowing my villain's motivation. I think I'm going to have to kidnap someone on my IM list and not let them go until I've hashed it out.

Your prompt looks extremely intriguing though, so I can't wait to see what comes out of it!

but I noticed that it's gone up on Metafandom, so ... no telling really.

Oh, Metafandom.... something tells me it's for the best that I didn't have time to write out my extended metaphor of someone sneezing in the vicinity of LJ, and fandom freaking out because they didn't cover their mouth.
