less_star wrote this as a bonus-round fic for one of my prompts in

sga_santa, and it's really delightful. I love the sense of weariness and resignation that pervades the story, as John struggles to acknowledge the idea that he could actually be happy; it's a wonderful John piece as well as a nice friendship story.

A Moment Out of Time by

skinscript (John/Rodney/Elizabeth, tag for Adrift/Lifeline) - This is really a gorgeous look at Elizabeth's sense of dislocation in her new nanite-enhanced body, and I loved how the characters' closeness and connection to each other comes through.
