SGA canon question

Does anyone know whether Asgard beaming technology can go through the Atlantis shield?

I really can't remember an instance on the show where they've either a) beamed someone to/from the Daedalus through the shield, or b) mentioned specifically that they can't, but I may well be forgetting something.

I had actually already written the thing when I got this comment (it's the apocafic snippet) but this was really helpful to confirm that the direction I'd gone was, in fact, the right one. Thank you very much for looking up this information for me! And yes, I'd forgotten about the Asgard ship; that's an excellent point.

I had fun looking for the information, I must admit. Happy memories of poor tired Rodney pushing himself that much further because Teyla asks him to and his city needs him; John being all tactical and knowledgeable about his enemy with Caldwell totally acknowledging his skills... good times. :)
