Does anyone know whether Asgard beaming technology can go through the Atlantis shield?

I really can't remember an instance on the show where they've either a) beamed someone to/from the Daedalus through the shield, or b) mentioned specifically that they can't, but I may well be forgetting something.

Hm. Did you see "First Contact" and "The Lost Tribe"? In "First Contact" an enemy ship passes straight through Atlantis' raised shield. They don't "transport" in the sense you're meaning but they simply fly through. In "The Lost Tribe" we learn that the enemy is an Asgard-faction that broke of from the ones already knows thousands of years ago.

I don't know if that info helps in any way for whatever purpose you need it but I sure hope it does. :-)

It's for the apocafic snippet, so I just went with something kind of vague, which it sounds like would work. :)
