It's that time again - Lauren Esker has a book out on Sept. 10, which means you get it for free (if you want it).

Also, today's the several-times-a-year "Zoebub" (unrelated to Zoe Chant; it's run by Zoe York) aka Stuff Your Kindle/Ereader Day, so if you're interested in perusing their free romance book offerings, www.romancebookworms.com is the place to go. The books are only guaranteed to be free on Sept. 5, but most of them are probably free for several days around it. She's getting all hot and badgered over this grumpy mountain man.
For her whole life, Doreen has been just too ... much. A half-badger, half-human shifter in a human world, she's too big, too loud, too bossy, too strong, too ... everything. So she'll embrace it and just be the big, loud grump that everyone seems to think she is anyway.
Somewhere deep down, she wants to find someone to treat her like a soft, cuddly princess. But if there's no prince out there, she'll pamper herself instead — which is why she's treating herself to a spa weekend at a shifter-only lodge.
Except the lodge is nothing like she expected. The place is under construction, half the spa things aren't working, and the only other person around besides the owners is a weird, scarred lumber-cutting loner who seems to want nothing to do with her.
But her badger is fascinated with him.
And if Doreen has to spend her spa weekend ferreting (or badgering) someone else's secrets out of them, maybe it'll end up being time well spent.
After all, it's not like things could go from badger to worse ...
