Long(ish) Biggles fic!

I did NOT expect to wake up yesterday to a sudden surprise gift from the lovely philomytha, but that is exactly what happened!

Von Stalhein Fails to Return by philomytha (7700 wds, team, gen)
On a mission to East Germany for British Intelligence, von Stalhein fails to return. His handler thinks he's defected. Biggles disagrees.

Slight AU post-Buries a Hatchet in which EvS is paying off his perceived debt by working for British Intelligence, things go wrong, and Biggles & Co end up on a rescue mission. Absolutely fantastic rotating team POV and incredibly iddy h/c for Erich; I loved every bit of it.

While I'm reccing things anyway, there's a long h/c fic that I think got completely buried in the Biggles fic bonanza of May and June and missed by a lot of people at the time, so I'm reccing it now because it's 13K of glorious snuggling-for-warmth/sharing a bed hypothermia combined with epic pining, and I got to read some parts of it while it was in development and was completely delighted by the final version.

The Thaw by sheron (13K wds, Biggles/EvS + team)
Biggles & Co run into von Stalhein while on a case in Norway, and things don't go according to anyone's plans after that.

And Phila's fic has me picturing ALL the recovery after they (of course) take Erich home to Mount Street :D (I think what I particularly like about that one is that his injuries are as much psychological and spiritual as physical, and some tender loving attention is really what the doctor ordered).
