I'm requesting fic for my main gift this year, but would be happy to receive art treats.
General likes: hurt/comfort, fluff, angst with a happy or hopeful ending, found family, curtainfic/domesticity, characters hanging out together (getting drinks after work, playing games, etc), casefic/action, presumed dead, missing scenes, futurefic, loyalty, antagonists/rivals/enemies to friends, bickering/banter, AUs, forced cohabiting (tents, hotel rooms, only one bed). In general, two of my VERY favorite relationship dynamics are characters evolving from being hostile to friendly, with all the intermediate steps in between; and characters being "weird" about each other (ship or not) in a slightly codependent/up-in-each-other's-space way that outsiders don't quite understand. I also really love tropey fic (sex pollen! bodyswap! soulbonding! amnesia! werewolves!). I don't mind violence/gore/horror, but want an optimistic ending.
DNW: permanent character death (temporary or assumed is fine) or terminal illness that is not cured by the end of the story, pandemics or any mention of covid (different illnesses with similar symptoms are fine, e.g. character with a fever), unrequested non-canon pairings (canon pairings are fine, as are background OC pairings), hopeless downer endings.
Several of these canons are historical, so I'll just mention up here that if you want to lean into historical details for plot or ambiance, that's great and I really love that kind of thing, but I'm not going to get hung up on historical accuracy, either. Basically you don't have to worry that the fic needs to be meticulously researched for me to like it. But if you want to go all out on historical geekery, I like that too!

- Weird SSR cases, which may or may not be actually explained; they can just show up, for example, covered in slime or carrying boxes of capture larval tentacle monsters or whatever.
- Hurt/comfort. Aftermath for Jack's shooting? Someone gets hurt on a case?
- Going undercover, fake identities, etc.
- AUs, canon divergent or total AUs. I like all kinds of AUs for these characters - modern bookstore/coffee shop/university professor/etc, high fantasy, "what if Peggy turned to a life of crime after coming back from the war," IN SPACE, etc.
- Canon, but with urban fantasy elements, like werewolves or ghosts.

I would really love some post-canon fic with the characters settling into their changed lives, especially with post-canon reunions. Just a reunited Sara, John, and Laszlo having dinner at Delmonico's would make me very happy. Or maybe Sara and John have to rush off to Vienna because something's happened to Laszlo, or Laszlo comes back to New York because one or both of them need him. Their bond in canon was so lovely and I like to believe that they wouldn't be apart for very long, and would always come if the other(s) needed them.
I really liked the season two love interests and would like to see how their post-canon lives go - Laszlo and Karen exploring all the kinky sex clubs that Vienna has to offer, John and Violet settling into their domestic married life and having their baby. (But if you don't want to deal with the canon love interests, you don't have to!)
Case fic would also be fun, either post-canon or in the between-seasons era.
AUs would also be fun! I'd prefer to keep them in the 1890s, but if you want to have them ghost-hunting, or dealing with an alien invasion, or just have canon go a bit differently, I'd love to read that!

DNW for this request: Danny being bad at everything or Strange hating him by the end of the fic. Antagonism and not being on the same page is fine.
This is such a weird, fun team-up that I had to request it when I saw it in the tagset. Maybe they have to investigate something weird together? Danny has to ask Strange for help with a weird Iron Fist-related thing, or something magical? Maybe Strange actually need's *Danny's* help with something, perhaps something Hand-related? A portal strands them somewhere together? Or maybe it's actually a regular thing that the Iron Fist is supposed to get together with the local representative of the sorcery world to compare notes on magic stuff, so they occasionally meet for tea.
Basically it would just be fun seeing them interact. Feel free to include other characters from their respective canons if you like!

I love this weird kung fu soap opera and miss the season three we never got!
Post-canon road trip would be awesome! I'm 100% here for Danny and Ward having weird magical adventures, or having to deal with the close quarters of tents/shared hotel rooms/etc, getting to know each other better while working through their lingering trauma.
Between-seasons fic is also lovely, with Danny and Colleen settling cautiously into their new relationship, and Danny and Ward taking the first tentative steps toward friendship/siblinghood.
I would have loved to see Colleen and Ward have to deal with each other a little more in canon, perhaps even becoming cautiously friendly. Maybe she comes along on their road trip, or has to show up to rescue them, or she and Ward bond a little after he and Danny come back from Asia.

Basically I just want post-canon fic about the characters settling into their new lives. All the relationships in the book delighted me. I also really enjoyed the other characters, but these four were my favorites.
Any sort of post-canon fic would make me happy! Maybe Ariastes and Facilis meet up again while one of them is at the other's garrison for business. Perhaps one of them is in trouble and needs help. (H/C always welcome!) Or some sweet, domestic post-canon Ariastes/Pervica would be nice too, with Ariastes settling in at the farm and getting used to his new life.
If you want to go for hurt/comfort of either the physical or emotional variety, there's plenty of opportunity for it. Someone could be hurt in a raid or battle, or go missing in the Briton-controlled lands to the north of the wall.
Pervica and Vilbia never got to meet in canon. Maybe a slight AU in which Vilbia hides out at Pervica's farm after she escapes? Or some post-canon scenario in which she stays at the farm for a while, or Pervica comes to town for business and they end up doing something like shopping together? Maybe Pervica can teach her to ride a horse?

This movie left me desperately craving the happy ending they (and we) deserve. I would love post-movie fic in which they survive and have a good life after the war. I would love to see them meet up for that promised drink in Paris, or encounter each other in some other context in the late 1910's or 20s.
Meeting up again during the war is also good! I don't know how this could plausibly happen, but handwave as much as you like. Crossing enemy lines to rescue each other? Hurt/comfort?? Perhaps Audebert finds out Horstmayer is in some kind of dire situation (a Russian POW, say) and goes rogue to save him?
This canon absolutely cries out for the "events of canon interrupted by alien invasion" tag from last year's freeform exchanges. I would love to see their truce continue because of having to team up against a worse enemy than each other.
If you go for the pairing option, I would prefer it to be handwaved so that it's not cheating, please. Maybe it's a poly arrangement with the wives, or they have an understanding that comfort sex with other people during the war is fine.

DNW for this canon: Sam or Bucky outright hating Zemo; I liked the cautious friendliness they had developed by the end of their time together in canon.
Sam and Bucky's bickery friendship is delightful, and Zemo is such a fun, chaotic weirdo that he charmed me utterly. I don't need a good explanation for why they'd be working together again post-canon. It's fine to just put them in the Nebulous Zemo Parole Universe where he's out again for ~reasons~.
Of course, if you do want to deal with it, that's great too - maybe he escapes from prison and Sam & Bucky have to hunt him down, or he escapes and comes to them for help.
Hurt/comfort is adored. I like it in all flavors, and I'm fine with hardcore stuff like torture, rape, flogging, pain collars, etc. as long as there is comfort to go with the hurt.
If it's not your cup of tea, though, I also would enjoy case fic or cute domesticity, such as hanging out together in a safehouse, making tea and bickering. Zemo being introduced to American Things like board games and gas station convenience-store food is always fun.
This canon also lends itself very well to undercover scenarios, heists, characters being captured together, and that sort of thing. Give me all the identity shenanigans, characters having to pass coded messages under pressure, Zemo being offered opportunities for betrayal and passing them up, etc.
The Zemo & Isaiah and Zemo & Sarah pair-ups are obviously going to be more cautious and perhaps antagonistic than the Sam & Bucky & Zemo ones. Sarah having to deal with her brother and his weird friend bringing home an even weirder friend (/prisoner) would be fun - perhaps some/all of them are hurt too? And then Zemo having to deal with Sarah's domestic life, maybe struggling with memories of his previous domesticity with his wife and son before things went to hell.
I think it would also be interesting for Zemo to find out about Isaiah and perhaps learn to put him in the "Bucky" category of people who got the serum against their will and haven't been corrupted by it. Maybe he ends up in a situation where he has to protect Isaiah from the government or from people who want the serum in Isaiah's blood.
