Dolly Mott, the flapper's ghost who haunts the old speakeasy under private detective James Keeley's office, died in a gangland shootout in the 1920s.

Or so James always thought.

Now it looks like there's a lot more to Dolly's death than James ever realized, and not all of Dolly's past is dead and buried. Someone's determined to shake James off the scent, or put him six feet under.

If he's not careful, he just might end up a ghost himself...

Haha, thanks! I appreciate you mentioning the tentacle thing, because even though I doubt if most people would read it that way, it really doesn't read like I wanted it to, which is as something sort of vaguely magic-ish off to the side there. And it hadn't really occurred to me to tinker with that.
