Public relations is the wooooooorst

So today I'm working on Facebook branding for my author persona.

(Me to Orion: The chaotic branding I've been doing on Facebook isn't really working.
Him: Yeah, you should really look into neutral or lawful branding instead.)

I have a new page for running FB ads from and generally for making book announcements, called Magic, Mayhem, and Mystery. You can see what it looks like here:

https://www.facebook.com/Magic-Mayhem-and-Mystery-601173417239021/

I wanted the name to apply to the general array of genres that this pen name is going to write, which will probably be mainly urban fantasy and mystery/thriller with supernatural or SF elements.

I want to redo my (largely unused) author group to match this, more or less, and start using it more. Specifically I want to make it more about my books and less about me. In the beginning I pretty much tried to roll all of my projects into one group that was really more about me than about what I do - this is what I mean by chaotic branding. It's called, sensibly enough, Layla Lawlor's Books and Art. But now that I'm looking around at what other people are doing with theirs, they've got cute names (like Hunter's Haven for an author named Elizabeth Hunter) and are more specifically focused on the books, and I want to do that too.

So I'm going to rename the group and make it sort of match the page, and I'm not sure what to call it.

My other author group, for the Lauren Esker paranormal romances, is called Lauren's Fireside Book Chat and I'm pretty happy with that - and with the "brand" for that page in general, which is kind of cozy and homey. This one is going to be more, I guess, stylish and actiony? But I do like the idea of having "Layla's X" to match the "Lauren's X" theme with the other group.

So now I'm just ... thinking of names. Layla's Magical Mayhem, maybe? I keep wanting to call it "Layla's Magical Mystery Tour", which is completely ridiculous but also kind of appealing.

AUGH.

Any suggestions are gratefully welcomed.

"Layla's Magical Mystery Tour" made me smile! But perhaps the Magical Mayhem one would be better? I kinda like the sound of it.

Sorry I don't have any suggestions, but it sounds like a good plan, whatever you decide on.

I have no suggestions since I am utter fail at FB, let alone FB branding, but I wish you luck!

Layla's Magical Mayhem Mystery Tour sounds pretty good to me! You nod to the Beatles song, and you get all your elements in.

OMG, I should never be allowed to name anything. I barely managed to name my children acceptably. LOL

I love all your suggestions, and I know you're going to figure it out and do well. :)

Heee.

My older daughter had the same naming strategy. Her stuffed white bear was White Bear. Her stuffed purple bear was..... Purple Bear. LOL

I approve of your choice of Layla's Magical Mayhem! (And yes, social media cheerleading is exhausting!)
