Thank you for writing for me! I have pretty extensive lists of prompts in the hopes they'll inspire you, but if you have a different idea, go for it! I'm easy to please.
All of the Netflix Defenders shows are grouped together in the tagset as Netflix Marvel, but I've separated them out in the letter for ease of reading. My requests contain spoilers for the last aired seasons of the various shows.
General likes: hurt/comfort (tropey or understated, both are good!), fluff, angst with a happy or at least hopeful ending, found family, curtainfic/domesticity, characters hanging out together (getting drinks, playing games, etc), casefic/action, presumed dead, missing scenes, futurefic, loyalty, enemies to friends, bickering/banter, AUs, ultra tropey tropes (e.g. sex pollen, bodyswap, soulbonding, amnesia, etc)
DNWs: character death (death fakeouts are great, though), incest, unrequested non-canon pairings (mention of canon pairings is fine), A/B/O AUs, tragic or hopeless endings.

Canon-specific DNW: Please, no Danny-bashing or fic that's about Danny being "taught a lesson" or something like that. (Actually sparring/being taught things is fine. Angst is fine. Characters teasing each other, bickering/bantering, and disagreeing on things is fine. Characters making mistakes and having their canon flaws is fine. I just really like him and I want warm team feels for this request.)
I have been ALL OVER teamfic with these ridiculous misfits lately, and I'm also really into the possibilities of cheerful golden retriever Danny interacting with the other, broodier members of the team (though I also love the various other combinations, and their various supporting characters are welcome to turn up too). If you write the whole team, it's okay to focus on one or two characters as long as the others aren't completely sidelined. I like all the canon pairings (but prefer the focus of the fic to be gen), and I have seen all the shows so you don't have to worry about spoiling me. You can feel free to ignore inconvenient canon and set the fic in a nebulous "some point when everyone is friends and everything is fixed" future, but you can also deal with the developments in their various shows if you want (e.g. Danny not having the Iron Fist, Jess being on the outs with Trish, that kind of thing).
Some story ideas (but don't feel limited by this):
- The team crashing after a mission that didn't go so well, with people tired and hurt.
- One of the team being in Deadly Peril and the others having to find and rescue him/her. I am really fond of "race against the clock" scenarios (time bombs, someone trapped in a room filling up with water), aftermath of torture, and hurt/comfort.
- Just hanging out together even when they don't have to. Pizza nights. That kind of thing.
- The team having to fight a COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS villain (you can make one up or use one from the comics) and just being like, what are our lives anyway.
- The team locked up together and bickering their way out of (or into) trouble.
- Strip poker.
- Everyone/anyone/someone finding out that Matt's alive.
- Road trip!
- Sparring, play-fighting, learning new tactics.
- A quiet conversation on a rooftop.
- Learning a new skill (not necessarily fight-related)
- Among the entire extended cast of the shows, there are a lot of former or current alcoholics/drug addicts, as well as a lot of abusive parents, and it'd be interesting to see something dealing with that, e.g. Danny talks to Jessica or Trish about something to do with Ward, Matt making a conscious effort not to train Danny the way Stick trained him, or that kind of thing.
- Someone accidentally acquires a pet. Maybe a magic pet, or a weird science-experiment pet.
- I have really been in the mood for Matt mentoring Danny lately. I just love the idea of Matt having worked through his own issues enough to be a good mentor to someone else (and slightly bemused about it, because WTF, someone is looking up to him now, what). Or the tables getting turned and Danny needing to rescue him/be there for him in some way.

I love Danny/Colleen even though I didn't specifically ask for it, and Misty & Colleen's friendship, so feel free to include any of that in a fic for me.
I love Ward and Danny's brotherhood/friendship, and Colleen and Ward having to get along for Danny's sake. I loved Ward's flirty relationship with Misty in S2 and wish we'd gotten to see more of it (I asked for the gen version, but ship with them is also fine). I also love Jeri Hogarth and her soft spot for Danny, and would love to see her interacting with either or both of the Rand-Meachum brothers.
I would love post-S2 fic since we won't get more canon (*sob*), or missing scenes, or slight AUs in which things went differently.
Some story ideas (but don't feel limited by this):
- Ward and Danny's Asia road trip! Tell me more!! Magic gun heists! Hurt/comfort! Daring rescues! Do they have to fight dragons? Or maybe something from their adjustment period when they get back, because that's gotta be weird too, especially for Ward, who's never done something like this before.
- Any sort of h/c with any of the requested characters would make me very happy. I'm especially fond of it for Ward or Danny.
- Time travel/time loops. Going back in time to stop someone's death. Danny accidentally ending up in Ward's fucked-up childhood. That kind of thing.
- Ward falls off the wagon again, or takes some kind of magic drug that has super weird side effects.
- Danny actually manages to get back to K'un Lun, but his homecoming is not what he hoped for.
- Impromptu road trip + inadequate immunizations = malaria, y/y?
- Colleen gets a call from kidnappers who have gotten their hands on two expat billionaires and want a ransom. After she stops laughing, she's off on a rescue mission (perhaps with Misty in tow).
- Misty needs Ward and/or Danny's help with a case.
- Misty and Ward fake-dating would be fun all around.
- Danny teaching Ward to spar/fight/meditate.
- Ward and Colleen getting to know each other better. I enjoy their antagonistic-inlaws relationship, but I hoped that if the show had gone on longer, they'd have ended up becoming friends, and I'd love to see that happen in fic. Prickly bonding over something to do with Danny (cooperating while he's in the hospital, say, or conspiring to get him a birthday present) would be amazing.
- Danny finds out about Jeri's illness. Can he heal her? Or maybe there's just some friendshippy bonding.
- Role reversal AU in which Ward (+ Joy?) were on the plane that went down, and Danny is back at home as the sole heir to Rand.
- If you're into crossovers between the shows, it'd be fun to see Ward meet some or all of the rest of the Defenders.

Frank and the Liebermans are my everything! Though I also would be fine with other characters being included; I like everybody and I'm good with Frank/Karen too. I will have seen season 2 by the time I read my gift, so don't worry about spoilers.
- I'm always up for an AU, but I would especially love it for this fandom. Frank as a Mad Max-style loner helping out a family in a post-apocalyptic wilderness and getting adopted by them? Frank as a space Marine? Frank and Leo in a Punisher take on True Grit?
- Anything involving someone being kidnapped, rescued, imperiled, hurt and helped out by the others is totally my jam. I especially like scenarios in which all the characters get to be awesome and competent at the things they're good at (while maybe being completely out of their depth in other ways).
- Someone acquiring an accidental superpower might be really fun in this fandom. What can they do? Fly? Heal people? Turn invisible? Walk through walls?
- Frank teaching David, Sarah, or Leo some kind of combat-related skill, like using a gun or picking locks or basic self-defense moves.
- Or the inverse: David teaching Frank something computer-related, or some other David skill. David helping Frank with taxes. XD Whatever.
- David isn't available to take Leo to some kind of father-daughter school event, so Frank steps in. This could be totally gen, or part of an OT3 scenario with Sarah and David in which Frank realizes that Leo really does think of him as a second dad.
- Anything with the Liebermans inviting Frank to a family event, a holiday, that kind of thing would make me really happy.
- Sex pollen fic with some combination of Frank and the (adult!!) Liebermans.
- I really love the contrast between the Liebermans in their suburban world and Frank with his issues and his dark past. Anything you'd like to write that deals with this contrast would make me happy, e.g. Frank working through some of his issues with his family's death through his friendship (or more) with David and Sarah, David having to face up to the amount of time he's spent in Frank's world and how it affects him/his family, etc.
- I really enjoy "5 things/5 things + 1" type of fic, e.g. "three holidays Frank missed and one he didn't", "four gifts the Liebermans gave Frank and one he gave them", etc.

I ship them together as a poly group; I also enjoy them as friends, and I crave canon-compliant fic where the Nancy/Jonathan relationship is a thing but they're also friends/monster-hunting partners with Steve. I'm not really interested in modern AUs, but I really enjoy futurefic set at any time between canon up to the present day - i.e. if the teens grew up in the 80s and are now 40/50-something, I'm fine with that, I just don't want an AU in which they were born in the 2000s, if that makes sense.
Mainly I'm interested in fic that touches on the general weirdness of their lives and having some of that weirdness follow them around after they leave Hawkins. I mean, the story doesn't necessarily have to touch on it directly (a little fluff fic about the three hanging out together is perfectly fine too) but I like the feeling of "our lives are so weird" and consequently they're just a little outside the mainstream because of the things they've gone through, no matter what.
Some story ideas (but don't feel limited by this):
- ALL the h/c. I'm especially partial to terrible things happening to Steve, but I'm good with anybody getting hurt. Pulling each other out of monster dens, near drownings, visiting each other in the hospital, getting patched up after a fight - you name it.
- PTSD, panic attacks, nightmares, etc.
- Monster hunting training, with Hopper or someone else.
- Aftermath for the fight in 2x09 is always great. I can't get enough tags for that episode.
- Along those lines, what if Steve has lingering issues from the beating in 2x09, such as seizures or other damage? I would really love a fic exploring that.
- Sex pollen (does not have to end in actual sex)
- Futurefic. I am especially partial to characters reconnecting after being out of each others' lives for awhile - possibly a scenario in which one or two of them stayed in Hawkins while the other(s) left. Nancy as a professional monster hunter, running into Steve and Jonathan under completely unexpected circumstances? Steve getting stuck in a dead-end job in Hawkins and Nancy & Jonathan getting him out? Or just all three of them living their college-age or adult lives somewhere.
- Gift giving, birthdays, holidays
- Getting-together scenarios are always nice. I really enjoy relationship-building in poly fic, all the stuff with working out the details, figuring out how they're going to handle marriage and living arrangements and that sort of thing.
- The kids decide to make Steve happy by matchmaking him with Nancy and/or Jonathan. Shenanigans ensue. (Can end up OT3 or not.)

The Peggy/Jack/Daniel triad is my AC OT3, in any/all combos. I am equally happy with shippy and gen versions. Feel free to include canon levels of Peggy/Daniel in an otherwise gen story. I also really adore total AUs for this fandom - put them in just about any non-canon scenario and I'll be delighted.
Some story ideas (but don't feel limited by this):
- Daniel finds out about the Okinawa incident. I can never get enough of this.
- AUs: urban fantasy, werewolves, bookstore, modern-day cops, teachers/university, high school, IN SPACE, etc ...
- Going out for drinks, poker night, or other bonding activities. Strip poker??
- Someone acquires an accidental superpower.
- Saving someone's life or rescuing them.
- Getting patched up after a mission gone bad. All h/c scenarios are very welcome here.
- Sex pollen (does not have to end in actual sex; I actually really enjoy hurt/comforty sex pollen scenarios as well)

- Future fic, anywhere between the 1940s and the present day - how do their lives go post-canon?
- A quiet evening at home or after work.
- Post-S2 recovery or aftermath for Jack.
- General casefic: investigating something weird, a character being kidnapped, something to do with the mysteries left over from S2, basically any/all weird SSR casefic is great!

I discovered this weirdo cops-and-robbers show this year and really liked it. There is so little fanfic for this series that I'd be pretty much happy with anything. It was hard to pick out relationships to request because a bunch of the characters and relationships are interesting to me! I think Kurt, Brock, Carrie, Job, and Gordon are my favorites, but I love most of them.
Some things I might like to see in fic:
- Lucas coming back to Banshee and reconnecting with the people there, if only for a visit. Or writing to someone in town (Carrie? Brock?) to let them know where he's landed.
- Kurt and Carrie worked together as vigilantes for months, and now they're both parenting young boys. Maybe they run into each other at some kind of town festival (or both have to help organize one), or Kurt asks Carrie for parenting advice, or they both have to attend a parent-teacher event. I would love to see them staying in touch and being friends post-canon. They're both people who could use more friends. Or, for something set during the canon period, how did their vigilante thing start? What made Carrie decide she could trust Kurt, and what made Kurt realize Carrie was someone he could bring information to?
- Kurt and Carrie have to resume their vigilante activities when things inevitably go sideways in Banshee. Maybe he gets in trouble and she has to rescue him, or vice versa. I love hurt/comfort so anything of that sort would be delightful!
- Everybody shows up for Kurt and Maggie's wedding, including people like Lucas and Sugar and even Job, and it's a mixed group of cops and cons and regular townspeople all having half-drunken wedding shenanigans.
- I always wished 3x05 wasn't the only episode in which Kurt and Alison interacted. They don't have to be friends necessarily, but I would love to see that relationship developed further.
- Brock's mentoring thing with Kurt, and Kurt's loyalty to him, is so great. Just anything with them would make me happy: working together on a case, something holiday-related, hurt/comfort with one of them having to rescue the other one, Kurt wanting advice about Maggie and Brock being vaguely horrified at the idea of anyone thinking HE is a good go-to person for relationship advice.
- I also really enjoy the push-pull between Lucas and Brock, the mix of antagonism and friendship and "I'm going to learn all your secrets" that they have. I love that Brock keeps his secret in the end. I'd enjoy something casefic-related or just a friendly moment during the show, or the two of them meeting up post-canon, or Lucas sending him coded letters or postcards or something.
- Not a relationship mentioned above, but Lucas and Kurt have a lot in common, both of them seeking redemption and a new life. What if Kurt finds out about Lucas's secret past? How would he react?
- AU in which Gordon didn't die; how differently does the last season go because of that? This relationship is not in the tagset, but I'd be totally up for Lucas/Carrie/Gordon if you have any inclinations along those lines.
Honestly I think you could put just about any of the people on the show together and do almost anything with them and I will be happy as long as some of the above characters are involved!

- Along those lines, what if Steve has lingering issues from the beating in 2x09, such as seizures or other damage? I would really love a fic exploring that.

- Futurefic. I am especially partial to characters reconnecting after being out of each others' lives for awhile - possibly a scenario in which one or two of them stayed in Hawkins while the other(s) left. Nancy as a professional monster hunter, running into Steve and Jonathan under completely unexpected circumstances? Steve getting stuck in a dead-end job in Hawkins and Nancy & Jonathan getting him out? Or just all three of them living their college-age or adult lives somewhere.
- Gift giving, birthdays, holidays
- Getting-together scenarios are always nice. I really enjoy relationship-building in poly fic, all the stuff with working out the details, figuring out how they're going to handle marriage and living arrangements and that sort of thing.
- The kids decide to make Steve happy by matchmaking him with Nancy and/or Jonathan. Shenanigans ensue. (Can end up OT3 or not.)

The Peggy/Jack/Daniel triad is my AC OT3, in any/all combos. I am equally happy with shippy and gen versions. Feel free to include canon levels of Peggy/Daniel in an otherwise gen story. I also really adore total AUs for this fandom - put them in just about any non-canon scenario and I'll be delighted.
Some story ideas (but don't feel limited by this):
- Daniel finds out about the Okinawa incident. I can never get enough of this.
- AUs: urban fantasy, werewolves, bookstore, modern-day cops, teachers/university, high school, IN SPACE, etc ...
- Going out for drinks, poker night, or other bonding activities. Strip poker??
- Someone acquires an accidental superpower.
- Saving someone's life or rescuing them.
- Getting patched up after a mission gone bad. All h/c scenarios are very welcome here.

- Future fic, anywhere between the 1940s and the present day - how do their lives go post-canon?

- General casefic: investigating something weird, a character being kidnapped, something to do with the mysteries left over from S2, basically any/all weird SSR casefic is great!

I discovered this weirdo cops-and-robbers show this year and really liked it. There is so little fanfic for this series that I'd be pretty much happy with anything. It was hard to pick out relationships to request because a bunch of the characters and relationships are interesting to me! I think Kurt, Brock, Carrie, Job, and Gordon are my favorites, but I love most of them.
Some things I might like to see in fic:
- Lucas coming back to Banshee and reconnecting with the people there, if only for a visit. Or writing to someone in town (Carrie? Brock?) to let them know where he's landed.
- Kurt and Carrie worked together as vigilantes for months, and now they're both parenting young boys. Maybe they run into each other at some kind of town festival (or both have to help organize one), or Kurt asks Carrie for parenting advice, or they both have to attend a parent-teacher event. I would love to see them staying in touch and being friends post-canon. They're both people who could use more friends. Or, for something set during the canon period, how did their vigilante thing start? What made Carrie decide she could trust Kurt, and what made Kurt realize Carrie was someone he could bring information to?
- Kurt and Carrie have to resume their vigilante activities when things inevitably go sideways in Banshee. Maybe he gets in trouble and she has to rescue him, or vice versa. I love hurt/comfort so anything of that sort would be delightful!
- Everybody shows up for Kurt and Maggie's wedding, including people like Lucas and Sugar and even Job, and it's a mixed group of cops and cons and regular townspeople all having half-drunken wedding shenanigans.
- I always wished 3x05 wasn't the only episode in which Kurt and Alison interacted. They don't have to be friends necessarily, but I would love to see that relationship developed further.
- Brock's mentoring thing with Kurt, and Kurt's loyalty to him, is so great. Just anything with them would make me happy: working together on a case, something holiday-related, hurt/comfort with one of them having to rescue the other one, Kurt wanting advice about Maggie and Brock being vaguely horrified at the idea of anyone thinking HE is a good go-to person for relationship advice.
- I also really enjoy the push-pull between Lucas and Brock, the mix of antagonism and friendship and "I'm going to learn all your secrets" that they have. I love that Brock keeps his secret in the end. I'd enjoy something casefic-related or just a friendly moment during the show, or the two of them meeting up post-canon, or Lucas sending him coded letters or postcards or something.
- Not a relationship mentioned above, but Lucas and Kurt have a lot in common, both of them seeking redemption and a new life. What if Kurt finds out about Lucas's secret past? How would he react?
- AU in which Gordon didn't die; how differently does the last season go because of that? This relationship is not in the tagset, but I'd be totally up for Lucas/Carrie/Gordon if you have any inclinations along those lines.
Honestly I think you could put just about any of the people on the show together and do almost anything with them and I will be happy as long as some of the above characters are involved!
