As with the Holy vid, some of the clips have been replaced entirely, since the flow of the images is slightly different when you can actually see people's faces. (The main change from the original is the instrumental bridge scene, which now includes a number of different clips. The original can still be viewed here.)

We finally watched the movie when it hit the small screen, and M (my partner) went nuts for it. So much so that he's watched it twice already, and we're running out to Best Buy to pick up the DVD today. Funny thing is that he wasn't that crazy about the first one, which I'd seen in the theater with a friend, and thought he would love.

For some reason I had the same reaction - I wasn't that enthused about the first one, and then I absolutely loved the second one ... and ended up liking the first one much better because of it! It's interesting how we click, or don't click, with different movies, at different times. (I think I just wasn't in the right headspace for the first movie when it came out. Perhaps M was the same.)

So this is the second new favorite song I've discovered through your vids. :) The music fits perfectly, as usual, and gosh, your video really drives home how beautifully sad these movies can be. I loved it!

Thank you so much! ♥ ♥ ♥ These movies are unusually challenging to vid because of all the tonal shifts - they can be ridiculous and gorgeous and tragic and sweet and heartbreaking, and it's really interesting trying to find songs that fit. I've discovered a lot of new music through vids, so it's always flattering to be able to do the same for other people!
