I really meant to do a post about this earlier; how has it been more than a week since the stockings went live already?

I was thoroughly delighted with my stocking this year; it was great and you are all invited over to check out my stuff. :D I got fic, art, wallpapers, icons, recs, and holiday greetings; it's all absolutely wonderful and I had so much fun going through it. THANK YOU! ♥

aaaaaa YOUR ICON. <3 <3 I was actually just watching videos on Youtube about building BB8s! SO MANY BB8 NERD VIDEOS OMG. It's so neat to me how this movie has kicked off a whole new resurgence of interest in Star Wars, but very modern and new.

BB8!! I keep meaning to get icons of things other than a) BB8 and b) Rey, but mostly failing. And then BB8 in a flower crown, I mean, that is like the quintessential (positive) fandom experience of the last year or two... :D

I'm one of the people who was vaguely fond of Star Wars (more of a Trekkie, but I'd seen both of the other trilogies and enjoyed them) and is finding herself delighted with the new movie and all the shiny fan activity. Such fun. \o/
