H/C bingo: back again!
I got my card! Which I'm sure you're all dying to see.
... I have to say, considering that I was planning on using this card at least partly to plan out "season two" of the Psychic Neal AU, IT REALLY COULD NOT BE MORE PERFECT FOR IT. I'd say at least half these prompts are ideally suited to the Psychic Neal 'verse (including the prompt that started it all, "experiments by evil scientists", which is what got the whole thing running last summer...). The only problem is deciding between them ...!
ETA: Here's the card with my own personal color-coding!
Purple = prompts for the Psychic Neal AU
Green = prompts that would make nice run-of-the-mill h/c fics
Bluish-purple = prompts that could go either way (psychic AU, or regular h/c)
The few that have no color-coding are the ones I'm not sure about - I just don't have any particular ideas for them. (Although "wings" might be a good opportunity to write that sequel to the Peter-is-Neal's-guardian-angel fic that I kept meaning to sequelize ...)
I MIGHT ACTUALLY MANAGE A BLACKOUT ON THIS CARD, GUYS!
heat stroke | wings | blackmail | lacerations / knife wounds | kidnapping |
forced soulbonding | experiments by evil scientists | hunger / starvation | severe / life-threatening illness | forced to participate in illegal / hurtful activity |
dystopia | dungeons | WILD CARD | counseling | major illness |
job-related trauma | tyranny / rebellion | mistaken identity | culture shock | panic attacks |
possession / mind control | caught in a robbery | cuddling for warmth | torture | captivity |

...if you don't use "tyranny/rebellion" as one of the fills, I'm going to glare really hard in the general direction of Alaska. :P

...I keep wanting to write a fic where a highschool art teacher from St. Louis comes to New York City and runs into Neal while he and Peter are doing something, and is all "Danny Brooks, is that you?", and then I never have any more ideas as to how that would work out. BUT IF YOU WANTED TO SPIN THAT INTO MISTAKEN IDENTITY, I BET YOU COULD. (Especially if it were earlier in canon, and Neal had to do some fancy "I'm sorry, you must have me mistaken for someone else" footwork before Peter puts on his I-suspect-something face.)
Also, you should totally sequelize the guardian angel fic.

I also appreciate the sandbox invitation! I think I'm gonna let that square sit and age for a while, though. There are SO many other squares I want to write first. (And what did I do last night? I sat and wrote 4000 words of fic in the Peter-is-a-werewolf 'verse that doesn't fic any bingo squares at all. WHATEVER, BRAIN.)

And I know that 4000-words feeling. Because brains are contrary, contrary things.

ETA: Because I put the comment in the wrong place.
