Really not spoilery for Agent Carter at all

Post I saw reblogged on Tumblr today: "Good Lord what if the Agent Carter storyline includes Howard’s assassination? And we see Bucky!"

... ffs, Tumblr, what part of this show is set in 1946 do you not understand.

And her one-shot is apparently AFTER the miniseries, so.

People are not smart.

Myself, my secret hope is for a Bucky flashback scene in Ultron. That may just be my desire for all dress uniforms, all the time, though.

Not that I'm not up for ten seasons and a movie.....

Wait, RDJ was born in '65, and Tony's orphaned at, what, 16....I'm too tired right now to count how many actual seasons that would take. And yet. I would be happy to be watching Agent Carter on my 95th birthday, is what I'm saying.

Maybe we'll get to meet Maria? I could certainly handle having Maria Stark in the MCU canon.

Man, let there be 10 seasons! And a movie!

There is quite a bit of canonical time travel in the comics.

Not just you. The comics and the movies are very different in their fundamental suspension-of-disbelief assumptions and aesthetic shape.

I was mostly joking, but now that you mention the angst potential...

Did you ever read Avengers/Invaders (with it's terrible art, and the plot that was like six issues longer than it should have been)? I'm really selling it, aren't I, but it had some really nice Golden Age!Steve meets Bucky!Cap moments.

You should have tried it in real time. Every month another issue would come out, with it's increasingly terrible art, and you'd just keep reading it, feeling that surely this month something would happen, something would make sense, or it would end. It never did.

But what do you mean??? EVERYBODY knows the entire 20th century took place in a single decade!!!11!!1!!

(For real though, while it would be fun if Bucky made a brief appearance, this is not his show, and I hope he only shows up as the cliffhanger of the season finale so that Peggy has a series-long arc hunting for the mysterious sniper who pops up at the worst possible times as she continues to kick ass week to week.)

And I really need to get myself some Peggy icons.
