Oh, how'm I supposed to answer #2? No fair! :D

#1. Animals

1. Dog, because I've always really enjoyed their company.
2. Raven, because they're smart, and tough, and fascinating in myth; and I love the way that they not only survive, but thrive on co-existence with human beings.
3. Fox, because we often see them in the yard, and it's always a treat.
4. Least Weasel, because Hubby and I agreed a long time ago that this is the cutest name for an animal EVER.
5. Dragon. 'nuff said.

#2 based on your proviso that your favourites change on a daily basis... so whose stories are you enjoying atm? :D

The WIP that's currently making me haunt my inbox for new updates is

iamrighthere's Happy. (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3939077/1/Happy) What I love about her stories is that they're definitely h/c, but they're different -- I can never anticipate what each new chapter is going to throw at me, and I really love that. I think right now, for me, what I'm most desiring from fic (aside from a good old-fashioned h/c fix here and there *g*) is unexpectedness; I want to read stories with plots I haven't seen before, stories where I can't anticipate the ending from the first chapter.
