Yeah, it was impossibly, over-the-top cheesy; I suppose that if I hadn't been distracted by other things that bothered me about it (like the appallingly ill-thought-out casting to name just one thing), I would've been able to relax and enjoy the cheese a little bit more.

I'm not sure when the new series starts, though; all I knew is that this one would air on Christmas!
