Fandom Stocking, a WC meta link, and that December posting meme

I hung a fandom_stocking! My stocking is here. As you may guess, it is mostly White Collar, but there are some book fandoms and other miscellaneous stuff as well. You can still sign up if you like!

veleda_k wrote an excellent post on Elizabeth discussing her choices, characterization, and relationship with Neal throughout the past five seasons. I pretty much agree with all of it; I think it does a great job of laying out how Elizabeth's characterization has been much more consistent and thematically constant than she is often given credit for.

I am absolutely loving all the December question meme posts! It's so lovely to check my LJ and DW lists and have them full of interesting posts! I meant to do more posting myself (and commenting!), but I'm completely slammed right now with a combination of end-of-semester stuff and Christmas shopping/box-packing/mailing (which takes place in early December for me, because all my family lives elsewhere and the boxes time to get there!). Also, I was just gonna crib interesting questions from other people, but TOO MANY INTERESTING QUESTIONS, CANNOT CHOOSE. So, is there anything in particular that you'd like me to write about? I'm not formally taking questions because I can guarantee I will not answer them all, but if you COULD have me write a post on any topic under the sun, what might you like to see?

Hmm. Well, I know you're not much of a shipper, so what does work to get you excited about pairings, whether or not you "ship" them in a commonly accepted sense?

I responded to a post last year to help stuff some stockings and had so much fun that I have a stocking for the first time myself this year, mine's here.

I think it's a wonderful idea and hope to visit as many stockings as I can, even if just to wish happy holidays to those whose fandoms I'm unfamiliar with!

I've set myself a challenge to try and put a fill as many stockings as I can, even if it's just a greeting for those whose fandoms I'm unfamiliar with. I've already filled thirty! It's such good fun.
