For posterity, my completely ludicrous Agents of SHIELD prediction

I already mentioned this to a couple of people last week, but I figured I'd repost it here. :D Since I don't have much contact with SHIELD fandom except through general flist fannish osmosis, I'm not sure if this is a prevailing theory that most people have already figured out, or so ridiculous that even Marvel wouldn't go there.

My prediction: that Skye will turn out to be Coulson's daughter.

My first thought was that she's Coulson and May's daughter. I'm still not ruling out the possibility.

It's a very popular theory on tumblr that she's May's and Coulson's daughter. There's gifsets and stuff.

That theory being true would make me relieved that that last ep had me swinging more toward shipping Jemma/Skye and May/Coulson, honestly.

Oh yeah. I don't think it's true but if it was, that would be an interesting situation the Skye/Coulson writers would find themselves in... Like a Luke/Leia situation.

Being the person who scoffed at "Melody Pond is River Song" as a theory, I'm not so sure that I should doubt too much, you know? But yes, I see what you mean!
