Homestuck update
OKAY, DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING.
(At least half my reactions to new Homestuck pages are basically the above line.)
And okay, yes, we were JUST told that Jane can bring people back to life. (One time only!) But I can't help wondering if that's actually how things are going to go in the next few pages. It's NEVER that simple: when the comic tells you something is going to happen, it's almost invariably something different (and much weirder). I don't think Karkat's permanently dead (inasmuch as "permanently dead" has any meaning in Homestuck reality) but I do wonder if we're about to go spinning off down a completely different plot path than just "Karkat dies and Jane brings him back two pages later".
Either that or Jane's one opportunity to resurrect him is being used up now, so she can't do it later. Which is a bad thought.
Or else it's a completely random event, she brings him back on the next page, and it doesn't actually matter at all.
