I've never really found a good place to say this, so I think I'll tell you now, that your Neal is my very favorite. Actually, it's more than that. White Collar fandom has plenty of talented writers, but you're the only one who writes Neal exactly the way I see him on the screen. He's a really complex character, and you capture that without either whitewashing or demonizing him.

I encourage you to do whatever makes you feel the best, and if that's leaving fandom, then totally go for it. But I want you to know how much I value what you contribute, because as someone whose views don't quite align with the majority of fandom, it's nice to see someone expressing what I see, but doing it more eloquently.
