Life, TV, etc ...

We washed the dogs and the dog bedding this morning. Result: the entire house reeks of wet dog (and the area around the washing machine smells like hot wet dog). Why is it that getting wet doesn't ever make dogs smell better?

Last night we watched an episode of Burn Notice in which Mark Sheppard played a bank robber:

Me: LOOK OUT, HE'S A DEMON! YOU PEOPLE ARE IN MORE TROUBLE THAN YOU KNOW!

When fandoms collide ...

(And he was a forger in an episode of White Collar. I think Mark Sheppard has played bad guys in every single show on TV. Someday he's going to get a gig as a sympathetic protagonist and no one will know how to react.)

Fringe:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I haven't watched the previews for next week's episode, so please don't spoil me in comments!

This is the first episode this season that's made me really, really want to see next week's episode. PETER YOU IDIOT. The show's grimdarkness this season has made me somewhat unengaged, but I like that it's still one of the few shows on TV that really throws my expectations on a regular basis.

Prediction: Peter ends up being the Big Bad this season, or at least for a couple episodes. BECAUSE OLIVIA TOTALLY NEEDS MORE ANGST, OMG. Semi-serious prediction: Peter creates the Observers. Completely around-the-bend prediction: Peter is September. (Hey, it would explain September's Peter/Olivia shipper tendencies.)

You mean like what happened last year on Doctor Who? :-P

I kept expecting his Doctor Who character to be revealed as evil! I mean, he's always the bad guy. I thought it was a rule

Maybe the disgusting dog smell carrying particles are water soluble and then evaporate as the dog dries, and the wafting water vapors carry them everywhere, when otherwise they just stayed on the dog.

Carefully avoiding reading Fringe spoilers, thanks for the cut!

LOL, yes, Mark Sheppard. Be in ALL the shows! (and quite rightly so!) He was bit more neutral/good if I recall when he did a guest spot on "Dr Who". He was also a bad guy in a two part episode of season one "Leverage", where there was another fandom collide in that one of his underlings in "Leverage" was Alex Carter who played Jason Bly, who Sheppard shot in that episode of "Burn Notice" you mentioned :D

I love the fandom collide thing. It's especially fun if you're a fan of a British and Canadian actors because it happens more frequently.
