Fringe 4x19
Plan, what plan? The writers are SO making this up as they go along. Possibly on a moment-to-moment basis.
... but I don't care, because I absolutely loved that episode. Twisty and fun and full of surprises and OH WALTER and sudden!surprise!Nimoy! and also THE MOST LUDICROUS APOCALYPSE EVER (... I keep suspecting the Fringe writers truly believe that the Observers are really creepy and scary, but they're just NOT -- I know the part where Etta is talking about Observers dragging people out of their houses is supposed to be full of angst and sorrow, but it's like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes or something ... I just couldn't take it with the gravitas that the scene no doubt intended).
(Also, damn you, Fringe, because I was pretty much content with not having a season five AND THEN YOU GO AND DO THIS TO ME.)
I love Future!Team! Was it supposed to be a big major surprise that Etta is Peter and Olivia's daughter? Because I had it pegged from her very first scene. The actress absolutely nailed Anna Torv's body language and even her voice.
HI DESMOND! ♥ If we get a season five, can Henry Ian Cusick be a regular? Or at least guest star a lot? Because OMG. ♥_♥
Oh WAAAAAALTER. I think it was hilarious that
xparrot and I were JUST (like ... this morning?) talking about Walter's missing brain tissue and how we're never going to find out what happened with that in the Amberverse, and then suddenly it's a major plot point. WE R PSYCHIC, y/y? And Walter is evil!Walter now, oh noooooo. ;_;
Also, everyone who guessed there was something creepy about the Observers was oh so very right.
AND WHERE IS OLIVIA?!
And what about the Redverse Team? Does the Redverse even still exist?
AAAAAAA SO MANY QUESTIONS. And what are they doing opening up a whole season's worth of plot and character possibilities with only a few episodes to go and no guarantee of a season five? Evil writers are evil!
ETA: Oops, missing the obvious until right now -- I just remembered that Henry was the name of Fauxlivia and Peter's baby before the big change-up at the beginning of season four. Henrietta=girl!Henry ... oh Fringe, YOU ARE SO WEIRD.
