yuletide this year. I must be nuts!
Anyone else care to join me in my madness?
So ... it looks like I'm going to owe a Secret Santa story forsheppard_hc and a Yuletide story this year. And I still have one request from last year that I haven't managed to complete (and I've been banging my head against it for awhile now, without making notable progress). But that's not really TOO bad. Enough to be fun, not so much as to be overwhelming.

I think my biggest concern about writing a request for an unknown someone is that they'll want a pairing I just can't make myself write. I'm not really much of a pairing writer to begin with; I'm willing to TRY, but there are some pairings (especially incest pairings) that I think would be very, very hard for me to write. I skipped over offering some fandoms that I think I could easily write as gen because most people don't want gen, and I'm worried that I'd be asked for a pairing in those fandoms that would squick the heck out of me.
