I was going to do the urban fantasy sequel, but the text I came up with (while entertaining) was highly spoilery for a character death in the first book, so then I tried the White Collar AU that I'm definitely not writing and came up with a chunk of rather boring exposition, so yeah, no meme for me, I guess.

I'm having a blast with the discussion to the meta post. Lots of interesting stuff in comments! :D I haven't really been talking about stuff lately - mostly just posting fic and the odd episode reaction post. I'd forgotten how much fun it is.

Also, it is SO WARM today. I know you people who are all experiencing SPRING are probably laughing at me for being so delighted that it's 40F (with three feet of snow still on the ground) but it feels sooooo good.

ETA: Also, I'm currently reading this book, and while it has the advantage that what's depicted on the cover actually bears some resemblance to what's happening in the book (unlike, say, this one), I'd like to point out that the creature depicted on this cover ... is supposed to be a WEREWOLF. "Werewolf" was not one of the options that occurred to me when I saw it. I was thinking more along the lines of "opossum" or "giant rat". That's a werewolf? Seriously?
