I seem to have been sucked into the giant time-hole that is Echo Bazaar.
But it's fun! Online games don't woo me all that often, but this one harks back to the old text-based RPGs like Rogue and Nethack that I used to play twenty years ago. And it has a really entertaining, tongue-in-cheek sense of humor.
The only thing saving me from really losing a lot of time to this game is that you're very limited on the number of actions you can perform per day, and there's a reset time of several minutes from one action to the next -- you can bypass this by paying for the game, but I'm finding the reset time useful in limiting my time-wasting somewhat.
'scuze me, I just got another action so I'm off to get some more Rats on a String. XD

It is all WebMD's fault.........
I have watched people play it on their whatever when they are in
a waiting room etc. and thought I could do it.
Although I did okay on WebMD, it was an entirely different story on a suduko site online........failed miserably

Obsessive seems to be the keyword here........and I thought this morning when I started playing it that there might be a NEED to do so too often.....

This is one of my obsessions at the moment :P I just love the atmosphere, and the lore, and the way you very gradually find out more of the overarching story in the oddest sort of places - and I love the devs very much too. Example. Anyway, I hope you continue to enjoy it!

Apparently I need to get a Twitter so that I can friend people. I'm logged in through Facebook, but it looks like you can associate the FB account with a Twitter if you have one. And here I was doing so well at avoiding it, too ...
