Steampunky!

You guys should check out Google's homepage today. :D It's redecorated in honor of Jules Verne's birthday. And it's interactive; you can steer with the little red-topped lever! NARWHALS!

I saw it but I didn't know the significance. Thanks for the heads up.

I thought of you when I saw the trailer for the new movie "Cowboys and Aliens." It might be complete garbage (though anything with the beautiful Daniel Craig is worth a look) but it seemed like it was along the steampunk line.

I had no idea what the occasion was, I was wondering why Google went with a steampunk theme. It was pretty! Alas, I went to look at it again and try the interactive component but it's gone; it's already Wednesday here.

Someone on my flist just reported that a coworker in her office had never heard of Jules Verne.
