NOOOOOOO! *clutches pearls*

According to Jim Butcher's website, Ghost Story's release date has been bumped to July 26, 2011.

I like the quote on the blog post: "It came down to, readers could either get a half-assed story in April, or a full-assed one in July!"

And 'tis true, I like my books fully-assed! So I'm not saying it's a bad decision or anything. But ... but another four months on top of the old release date ...! How will I LIVE~!

(Although July 26 is my birthday, as it happens. I know what I'm getting for MY birthday this year! *grabby hands*)

hmm.. guess that means he won't be touring in April - which is always hard for me - but instead might be doing comic con!

When one waits eight to ten years for a Jean M Auel book, one doesn't mind a four month wait. That said, Land of Painted Caves is coming in March and I have it on pre-order as a Christmas present from my sister! :D

I saw this before and went D: D: D:

Then I had a fit of selfishness, and thought I was pretty lucky it wasn't coming out right in the middle of me moving from Japan and going on a long trip - this way I'll be able to enjoy it with everyone else at my leisure!

But. Aww. Yeah. I want?

Though there is some good news ahead - guess what's coming out February 17?! :D

But ... we would be having sample chapters coming out soon, and I was SO looking forward to those ...

I *know*. Is it bad I had already been counting the weeks back from the release date, to know exactly when I should start looking? Which was so close! *clings* But I wants it precious, waaaaants it!

Am I a bad person for being somewhat thrilled that even the most ridiculously prolific of writers sometimes need just that bit more editing time? ;D

Awwww, sorry to hear that hon. It could be worse. My hubby has been so annoyed by the delays of George R.R. Martin's "A Dance with Dragons" that he doesn't care about it anymore, now that it's five years late.

I need to read the rest of Harry's adventures. I just managed the first
in the series, but right from the beginning my mind began to think:
"THIS is Flan material"
:D

*Pouts*

Well, July is better than many, many, many, many moons later. There was a book series I was reading... oh... maybe four, five years ago. I'm still waiting for book three, and during my search for news on book three discovered it's to be five books long.

And it's been four, five years since the last book o_O *Iz not happy camper*

(But I have to cut this book some slack, as it's heavily illustrated and the author needs time to get all the pictures done).
