I just got lucky with Yuletide this year -- I saw my assignment and went EEEEE, then immediately had an idea that worked. Last year, I ended up being massively stuck for a long time, going down some dead ends and then writing my story in, like, the last two days before deadline, so I figured it was just karma ... I was bound to have a good Yuletide writing year eventually. *g* But good luck with yours!
