I'm so ridiculously OTP about them that it's hilarious.

ETA 2 (chapter 102): AUGH! FUCK AGAIN! His eyes!

ETA 3, Son of ETA: (now in the middle of chapter 103) I realize that this is COMPLETELY tangential to everything else that's going on, but I was just speculating .... now that Roy's been through the portal and paid the sacrifice, he doesn't need the gloves anymore, does he? He ought to be able to do the flame thing without needing a circle now. (Of course, the whole blindness thing is still kind of a problem ...)

I know! She really doesn't pull any punches, does she? I love those little shocks, but wow, OW. (And I just got to the end of chapter 102 -- had to stop to make something to eat in the middle, aargh -- and oh, Al.)

Hahaha, not reading your post, just... ahhhh, I want to read the chapters after 99 (end of the most recent volume). But there's another volume coming out in April, and life and One Piece is keeping me in suspense, and I'm just not sure I could handle more of that.

But, yeah. Arakawa. Is awesome, and I am very much looking forward to catching up. ♥

Wow, I didn't know they collected them that quickly! (The latest volume that's out in English is 22 -- which I guess I shouldn't complain about; it's still much faster than we used to get them!)

Arakawa is amazing -- I think I have even more respect for her as a writer after reading her little chibi-cow intro bits, where she talks about how much research she does, even interviewing WWII veterans and such. And I'm looking forward very much to discussing it with you! ♥

(Also, now that I've caught up on FMA and I'm back in a manga-reading groove, perhaps I'll tackle One Piece next ...!)

I don't read the manga so I have no clue what's coming up but Roy is my favourite character and I do love this pairing so I like them together... I know I shouldn't spoil myself but it's great to see that you're back into FMA! :)

Roy is my favorite too! And I just noticed your icon is from his fight with Lust, isn't it? I'd seen that icon on your posts before, but never paid much attention to what was happening in it, beyond noticing that it was Roy, of course. :D
