Website updated... finally
I updated my website -- unless I missed something, it should have all of my SGA and SG-1 stories written to date (aside from WIPs), and it's getting to the point that the website is the only place all of these are in one location; I haven't posted some of the newest ones to ff.net, so they've been scattered around between sga-flashfic and this journal. Anyway, they're all there now.

I decided to quit bothering with the "leave feedback" link on the pages; all of them have a link from the main page to somewhere you can leave feedback (the story's other location at LJ or ff.net), and it's just an extra level of hassle when I'm updating the pages to have to go through and hunt down all the places I posted them so I can link to the feedback threads. Of course, maybe if I'd update my pages more often than every 4 months, it wouldn't be such a big job when I finally get around to it...
Also, just for the sake of figuring out how much time I've wasted lately, I counted up the word counts for the stories. At a very rough estimate, it looks like I've written a mind-boggling 470,000 words of fanfic in the last year. Adding in all of the unfinished WIPs (of which there are several long ones) I figure it's somewhere in the 600,000 word range.
*boggle*
I could have written four novels. I think this might perhaps mean that it's time to focus more on the novel(s) and less on the fanfic. *looks guiltily at unfinished novels*

Actually, I was reading a (published) author's blog the other day in which she said that her target is 5,000 words a day. That's a really, really GOOD writing day for me! The idea of doing that every day makes me keel over on my keyboard.

(Anonymous) 2007-04-20 09:20 am (UTC)(link)I really enjoy your team-fics, but the John-Rodney friendship in particular since that's what drew me to SGA to begin with. You portray their exceptionally well, and I love it! Looking forward to more of your work (although I do understand you would like to spend more time on your original work ;))!
